Cindy and I (Steve) consider it a privilege to be invited into your marriages every week through these Marriage Messages. We are always seeking God as to what we should write and share with you from week to week and He has been faithful to guide us. This week, as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, I want to offer the following prayer of blessing for you and your marriage:
Father in heaven, first I want to praise you for the gift of eternal life you have given to all who call on the name of Jesus, whose resurrection we celebrate. And I want to thank you for personally working in Cindy and my marriage to redeem and resurrect what once was “dead” and now allow us to participate with You in this ministry as it touches thousands of marriages every week.
It is in the name and the authority of Jesus that I come to ask you to bless each husband and wife who reads this message this week. Grant us all the wisdom and insight we need to live in our marriages every day in such a way it that brings glory to Your Name and strengthens our relationship with each other.
Jesus, we also ask that You “open the eyes of our hearts” so that we may see You at work in our lives. And help us to recognize the times when we are not treating each other the way that You would have us; convict us of any sinful attitudes, behaviors or actions so that we may repent and ask your forgiveness. And give us the strength to seek forgiveness from each other whenever necessary, knowing that as we do this, we are doing this “as unto the Lord.”
Lord, we know there are couples and individuals who are hurting deeply right now in their marriages. We would ask that You comfort and guide those people; help them to find their hope and strength in You to bring about the changes that are necessary to heal whatever marital “wounds” that may exist today. “As far as it depends on us”, help us to live at peace with our spouse to bring honor to Your name.
And, Lord God, as the creator and author of marriage, please help us all to keep our eyes on You and Your Word for guidance at all times. May we turn from the world’s idea and model for marriage and may we be a living witness to others that it is You, and You alone, who has the “perfect plan” for living as husband and wife. May we not fall into the temptation to “mingle” the “world’s ways” with Your ways (Colossians 3:2).
And finally, Father, as we pray for Your blessing on us today, we commit our lives and marriages to You according to what is written in 1 John 3:18: “Let us not love [merely] with words or tongue but with actions and truth.”
We thank You this day for hearing our prayer;
May Your perfect will be done!
In Jesus Name we pray this, Amen.
Only a few received Jesus Christ when He first came to this earth…
BUT THE CELEBRATION WILL BE DEAFENING WHEN HE RETURNS!!!
We are rejoicing with you because Jesus came…
He was resurrected…
And He is coming again!
We Pray God’s Resurrection Blessing on You for Your Marriage,
Steve and Cindy Wright

(BOTSWANA) Thank you for your website. It’s really a good place to be especially if you are married couple. Thank you.
(UNITED STATES) I THINK THAT MY MARRIAGE IS CRAZY BUT MY ISSUES ARE MY HUSBAND IS KIND OF SELF CENTERED AND LAZY. IT’S JUST RIDICULOUS.
(UNITED STATES) My husband and I have been going through some tough times this past year that we are praying for a better year together. Let me start from the beginning. Last year I found out my husband of 10 years was cheating on me with one of his clients. We started the divorce plans just because I was very hurt. His remark was that it was not her, it was me, that he did not love me the way he use to love me when we first got married.
I told him that was a choice to keep fighting for that love but he could not stop seeking her out the person who he was having an affair with that it hurt me so much that I walked out of our marriage because he moved in with her.
Time has gone by and we were going to finalize our divorce in October but we started talking and we both decided to stop the divorce and try to save our marriage, but so far I feel like I am the only one trying to save the marriage because he has told me that he is not focus on our marriage he is focusing on our debt –that it is more important to him.
My husband has asked him to give him time and that he feels like he will be on the same page as I am in saving our marriage.
All I am is asking is for prayers from couples who have gone through this and has survived it through the grace of God and through so many prayers. Please help me with wonderful storyies so I do not feel alone.
God Bless You
