It's not necessary! Mom's not senile or dying! (mom's giving her the house) He's 35, she's 40; her second marriage; he had hopes... sure they're both half grown, but they wanted to grow together. Mom needs to make a productive life of her own; get her involved in an activity outside her home like a charity that NEEDS her.
