(USA) Me and my wife of 7 years just got back from a Assembly of God “Marriage Encounter” weekend and it was great! The principle behind this “United as One – Marriage Message #321″ based on Garry Smalley’s book (One Flame … How to Weather the Five Winds in Your Marriage) is basically the same as what we learned at our Marriage Encounter weekend and is a great tool to build up or even restore the unity of oneness in any marriage. There were pastors and their wives, youth leaders and their wives and so on there as well as Christian couples as our selves. This principle works for all marriages no matter how good or bad they are! And even if you think your marriage is great these principles can and will make it even greater if they are applied and followed by both spouses as they learn together to always put God and His view of marriage at the head of their own marriage.
